At the beginning of 2008 and 2009 I made lists of some of the popular and personal favorite posts on Jamaipanese.com throughout the previous year. This year I decided to change things up a bit and list the top 10 most popular posts on Jamaipanese.com in 2009.
Using my favorite stats service Getclicky I have listed the top 10 posts below in terms of traffic, the only requirement is that they had to be created in 2009, although quite a few of my older posts continue to bring in traffic and remain quite popular. Anime related posts continue to be quite popular here on Jamaipanese.com so expect to see lots more anime posting goodness in 2010.

Have you ordered them by total visits or have you divided the number of visits with the number of days since they were published? I’m preparing a similar list for the NihongoUp blog and I would like to use the second method as it doesn’t benefit the older articles but it seems like the only way of doing this in Clicky is to divide the number of visits by hand? Or is there some place where one can see the average number of visits/day?
I used a combination of total visits and how popular they were for the 14 days following when they were published in an effort to level the playing field no matter the age of the post.
