Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Official Artworks

I fell in love from my first impressions and noticed that it has a lot of similarities to another favourite game of mine, Super Metroid. But back to the art book.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Official Artworks – 2 halves

The book is big, chunky and textured. The first half of the book walks you through the story of the game using concept art of locations, bosses, weapons, items and more. Sekiro’s story on the surface seems simple but it has so many layers and fine details that are really interesting. The second half of the book has character portraits for all the main characters as well as support characters and even random NPCs. It’s cool to see how the early concepts got refined into what eventually made it into the game. Isshin is a badass and seeing art for the pistol he shot the shit out of me with brought a smile to my face.
