Hades – Definitely not an overhyped game

Hades is one of those games I had been hearing everyone raving about. I was sceptical because of previous hype surrounding games that were not for me. I also have a growing backlog of games I need to play so adding new ones to the list is just asking for trouble. However, two gamers whose opinions I hold in high esteem (my pals Aaron and Azad) encouraged me to give it a try.

Why is the Switch version the most expensive?

I jumped in after navigating some complicated crap related to which system to get it on, cross saves, getting a used copy etc. In the end, I got a second-hand Switch version and I have been hooked on it since. I have had maybe 15 attempts to escape so far (the plot of the game is to try to escape hell). I have managed to make it to the 3rd level boss duo and I am itching to get back into it every time I am not playing. The last time I felt like this about a game was probably when I was playing Sekiro.

Hades for the Nintendo Switch

Streaming on Twitch

How many tries will it take for me to escape? I am not sure but I will not give up. I want to upset Hades by escaping his domain and trying to find my mom! I have been streaming it on Twitch as often as I can when I play. Please come follow and watch my streams @Jamaiplays. I have also been uploading some of my stream highlights to my gaming-focused Youtube channel.
