Chibi Gundam Aerial – The Witch from Mercury

Mobile Suit Gundam is one of the most popular anime franchises in the world. It has been around for over 40 years and has given us countless iconic mecha designs. I recently bought and assembled (on stream!) the Chibi Gundam Aerial from The Witch from Mercury. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is the latest series in the franchise. SD Gundam model kits feature super-deformed (SD) versions of classic Gundam designs, making them perfect for collectors and fans of the series. I prefer to call them chibi gunpla and I love them because the kits are affordable, easy to assemble, and their giant heads are cute.

Streaming Chibi Gundam Aerial build

It’s been a while since I assembled a kit and even longer since I did so while streaming over on my Twitch channel (follow me there please). Assembling model kits is such a calming, relaxing experience for me and putting together the Gundam Aerial was no different. The Chibi Aerial was pretty standard in all its bits and pieces with the highlight being some translucent shiny bits of its armour that made it stand out compared to other similar kits I have built in the past like the Exia, Astray Gold Frame, RX-78-2 and Unicorn Gundam.

More Gunpla builds coming

I enjoyed building the Chibi Gundam Aerial so much that I already have another kit from The Witch from Mercury series lined up to build on stream soon. Please follow me on Twitch to watch when I build the Demi Trainer!
