Bolt vs Gay – Japanese TV Edition

Usain Bolt is now a household name worldwide after his record breaking achievements at the Beijing Olympic Games as well as at the World Championships in Berlin. Japanese television is well known for its crazy skits, re-enactments and game-shows. Not surprisingly Usain Bolt eventually became the topic of a skit on Japanese TV, a video of which is embedded below.

Its been a few days since I saw a tweet with the link to this video from one of my pals on Twitter and keep going back to watch it for a good laugh while sharing it with friends, family and coworkers. It seems that not everybody finds it funny and some people find it offensive. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with the video other than Gay’s name is spelled wrong, Gay lost but got the medal and he should be African American and not Caucasian ^^ but I guess that adds to the comedy. Well lets hear it from anyone watching and then reading this, is the video offensive?
