Recently I was in the market for a compact, affordable, LED-free wireless headphone and the Audio-Technica ATH-M20xBT was the one that I eventually bought. I have owned a lot of headphones and gaming headsets over the years from the super cheap and weirdly named Kotion Each G4000 to my workhorse for several years the Astro A10. With my streaming on Twitch @Jamaiplays becoming more and more fun, I have dedicated a lot of time to it.

I bought a new gaming laptop but had a curious issue because the audio jacks were different and caused the A10 to not sound as good as they did on my old gaming laptop while streaming. I tried all of my mics but in the end, ended up going back to my old favourite – the Audio Technica AT2020 which I bought at least 15 years ago for podcasting and audio-related side hustles. This mic is probably the best $100 I have spent on a tech item. The new setup called for a new headphone without a good quality built-in mic and thus the search for a compact, affordable, LED-free wireless headphone led to the Audio-Technica ATH-M20xBT. So now my stream audio set-up is Audio-Technica with crisp sounds coming into my ear and out of my computer to my Twitch viewers. The build quality could be a little better but I love how comfortable it is to wear for hours and even happier that my setup can be cleaner with only less cord on my desk.
