MSI GF63 – My new Gaming Laptop

Six years ago I got myself a gaming laptop for my Christmas/New Year’s gift to myself. The Dell Inspiron 7577 served me well but in the last year started to show its age when doing more intensive tasks like running video editing software and streaming on Twitch. The battery was the first to go, the keyboard had keys that didn’t respond, it was always overheating and it became a glorified desktop in a laptop form factor permanently connected to the wall. Recently I got a new gaming laptop the MSI GF63. It is thinner, lighter and so much more powerful, and even as a techy I am impressed by the progress gaming laptops have made in recent years.

Say no to bulky gaming Laptops

One thing I didn’t want to do again was to have a big, bulky, heavy laptop. I missed the form factory of my OG Sony Vaio and got used to my other laptop, the ASUS Zenbook that I use for grad school and coding.

PC Gaming on the Go

I am impressed by the performance of the MSI GF63 Gaming Laptop, my Twitch streams have not skipped a beat and my most recent YouTube video about taking the night bus from Hiroshima to Tokyo was edited without having my laptop fans powering up like a Deceptacon. The form factor will allow me to take it on trips and outside my home for some gaming on the go and I am happy with the purchase.
