Ladies and gentlemen, meet Akira Kitajima, a 78 year old Japanese man and 13 year veteran of western style first person shooter video games. It is as much a surprise that he started playing video games so late as the fact that his gaming interests are first person shooters; a gaming genre with practically no following in Japan.
Aki_tan (his video game nickname) even has a website where he posts guides, cheats and walkthroughs of the video games he has played and that makes him qualify for one of the coolest old people ever.
