Japanese “u” verb practise

After part one of my letter to all Japanese verbs it’s time to practice some, I hope to post lots of posts like these practicing and getting used to using “u“, “ru” and irregular verbs so that when its time to speak or write them it feels not so alien .err I mean foreign to me. This post will not include any irregular or “ru” verbs, they will come in later posts.
If you are unable to see some of the characters typed below please install East Asian language support on your PC. If you see them but dont understand what they mean and you want to know, consult the Hiragana Charts.
The verbs will be written in example sentences in conversational or “masu” form: Positive present tense, past present tense, positive past tense and negative past tense. Please note that Japanese does not have future tense.

  1. I guess I haven’t learn many Japanese grammar yet,, Lookin your site, I encourage to learn Japanese again 🙂

  2. I think it should be

    かんじ【で】かく

  3. Agree with you, Jamaipanese; "Kanji o kakimasu" is correct if you’re just talking about writing kanji for the sake of writing kanji. Of course, if you’re talking about writing something (like a message), and you choose to write it in kanji vs. romaji, then you would say "messeeji wo kanji de kakimasu."
