Futuristic electric powered vehicles seems to be what the major players in the Japanese auto industry is focusing on. Vehicles like the i-Real Personal Mobility Vehicle by Toyota and the U3-X robotic unicycle by Honda are some of the ones I found interesting enough to blog about int he past. But there is a new guy by Honda the Honda 3R-C Urban Transport Vehicle.
The 3R-C was designed and created by European designers working at Honda’s Research and Design facility in Milan, Italy and is described as a three wheeled battery electric vehicle concept showing what a future minimal urban transport vehicle for one person might look like. A low center of gravity, impact resistance, weather protection as well as secured personal storage are some of the features of the vehicle.
The geek inside me just thinks of it as 3 wheeled bike that looks like it was designed by the Romulans with input from the Autobots and they just refused to tell us about the advanced cloaking ability, plasma resistant armour plating and front mounted beam rifle.
