I cannot believe that 2face Idibia is not Jamaican. All these weeks of enjoying what I thought was a “new release” of his great songs titled “African Queen” I thought he was a fellow islander. His voice, the excellent reggae vibe and even the photo or two I just made me thing Jamaican without a second thought it my mind. Today I found out through a co-worker and video on Youtube that 2face is actually Nigerian and this song which is currently a regular listen for me along with other love themed reggae songs like Taurus Riley’s “She’s Royal” is actually 3 years old!
It’s a great song, from a great artist and his voice and style just keeps making me think about my West African Ancestry.

Hmm, maybe you should take your ignorant, uninformed, ass back to the cave that you crawled out of.
Ha ha, yes, he is HUGE in Nigeria! This song took the whole of Africa by storm though. He has other songs on that album that is good as well like Keep on Rockin’and Right Here. I have his secon album that has this reggae gem, One Love -pure fiah. I hope he crosses over and gets big like Akon.
I think He is the best musician in Nigeria, i love him [love]
