I am a really avid gamer and I look forward to each year’s staging of E3 to get and idea of all the big games to look out for throughout the year.
This year’s E3 was one of the biggest E3’s ever because of all the buzz about the Next Gen systems. Microsoft has already released their Xbox 360 and Nintendo and Sony are preparing their Wii and Playstation 3 to be released later this year. There are quite a few games that I am excited about and I have written a short list of some of them.
If you didn’t know before know you know, Samus is my favourite game character and I excited about playing Metroid Prime 3 for the Nintendo Wii. From the videos I’ve watches I am almost dreaming about playing through another Metroid adventure
This game has caught my eye for quite some time now but at E3 2006 my eyes have been permanently locked unto this game. The visuals are excellent, the animation is flawless the action seems intense….i must play this when it gets released.
This game is kinda long over due but it seems nintendo is pulling out all the stops to make it worth our while. There have been new content added as well as support for the Wii controler (wiimote) and so it will come in two flavours, one for the Gamecube and aother for the Wii later in 2006.
Probably the only PS3 game that I am really really interested in other that my usual favourites like Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy. Over the years I have yet to truly sit down and play through a Metal Gear game and it seems that (hopefully) this one will be my first jump into the MGS universe.
Smash Bro’s Melee is the game I have rackedup the most hours (and fun) playing throughout the current gen of consoles and me and my friends are going crazy over the new installment that should be out in 2007. The trailer is really cool and previews quite a few confirmed new characters and gives hints of quite a few new gameplay elements.
This is a new one that I know little about besides a short trailer. It is intruging and I have high hopes for this new game from Ninendo, i’ll be watching this one very closely.
