I bought a 7-ELEVEN convenience store

Convenience stores are everywhere in Japan. The problem is there are none on the island where I live! So I decided to change that and bought one. My favourite conbini chain is actually Family Mart but those were sold out… I mean the franchise was not expanding so I went with a TOMIX 7-ELEVEN instead.

Tiny Stickers

After building my first diorama and getting addicted to train models the next logical step would be acquiring buildings. This 1/150 scale TOMIX 4262 7-ELEVEN convenience store is me dipping my toe into that too. Building the kit was simple enough except for the parts that had tiny stickers. I hate tiny stickers on models and if you have seen any of my Gundam model builds this shouldn’t be news to you.

TOMIX 7-ELEVEN Build

Building the kit took me less than an hour with those damn stickers taking up most of the time. This is the first building to make it unto my layout which right now is just my Narita Express on an oval track and assorted figures and collectibles.

Here are some pictures of the completed 7-ELEVEN convenience store. Let me know in a comment below or tweet me @jamaipanese to tell me which of the convenience store chains in Japan is your favorite.
