Japan’s shinkansen, or bullet train, is a marvel of modern transportation technology. First introduced in 1964, the shinkansen has since become an iconic symbol of Japan’s innovation and efficiency. I love riding the Shinkansen because it is a fast, comfortable, safe and convenient way to get between major Japanese cities.
I always look forward to riding the Shinkansen (even when I am forced to stay overnight in one). I am that train geek snapping photos of the different shinkansen models inside and out while enjoying the smooth quiet ride to cities all over Japan. Have you ever taken the Shinkansen in Japan?
