I have had a long history of hiring robot security guards for desk protection duties. I have found that chibi gunpla models are perfect for the task because they are cute enough to be the source of conversations but armed enough to thwart all potential threats to the “important” materials on, in and around my desk. Exia and Astray did such a great job at their duties in Jamaica, I’m glad RX-78 is living up to their high standards in Japan.

Important treasures on my desk include a replica poop (うんこ) gift from a former student, various origami creations, a tube of lotion to keep my hands hydrated and an assortment of textbooks files and other materials vital to my work as an educationist.
