AfterΒ four errors and a few unforeseen hiccups I have managed to complete the conversion of my blog to wordpress (finally). There is still lots of work to do but the back-end tasks are mostly complete and I have a blog that is at least browsable (not a word).
It’s after 4am here and I have a long day ahead as I am booked to cover and photograph a local festival which starts around noon, time to catch some ZZZZs until I can do some more work later tonight and only have some broken links and missing images to worry about which I will have to go through manually and correct over what will most definately be weeks.
@ Gordon, thanks forgot to re-enable full feed. I am not a fan of third party comment management though, so no disqus for me.
@ Esteban….thanks
Looks nice but the text for everything is 1 or 2 points bigger than it might need to be.
@ CS….fonts reduced slightly π
Sweet, first thing, install disqus:) and make your rss full view
It looks very nice!!As a matter of fact,it is much more user friendly than the previous one.Nuff respect!!
I like it as well. I believe you’ll enjoy the WordPress platform.
Agreed. Not a fan of Disqus.
I think the fonts could be a bit bigger, make it a bit easier on the eyes, but I like it π I too agree about Disqus.
Huzzah! The WordPress Era at Jamaipanese has begun!! Looks good =)
Well done, though you need to move the comments link to below the post.
I like this new feeling, but now that it’s here, I don’t really remember the old one very well. But it feels less cramped for some reason. I’m a fan of Disqus, but I WordPress’ own comment system is good too so that doesn’t really matter.
Congratulations on the WordPress conversion! I converted my blog to WordPress from Drupal a year ago. It was a lot of fun. π
And yeah…I wouldn’t use Disqus or anything like it (especially Sezwho) either. -_-
