Japanese Anime Festival in Jamaica

The Japanese Embassy in Jamaica and the Japan Foundation is teaming up to stage another Japanese Anime Festival in Jamaica. The 2 day event will be on Saturday May  30th from 11am to 5pm at the St Andrew High School for Girls and Sunday May 31st from 2pm to 8pm at the Liguanea Club in New Kingston. Admission is free!

The anime that will be on show include:

  • Science ninja Team Gatchaman
  • Hide and Seek
  • Negadon: The Monster from mars
  • SOS! Tokyo Metro Explorers: The Next

I will be there hopefully on both days and I expect the Japan and anime loving community in Jamaica to be out as well. Of all the anime that will be on show I am probably most excited to see SOS! Tokyo Metro Explorers: The Next. Will you be going? Which of the anime are you looking forward to seeing? Unable tog o or live overseas? Have you seen any of the shows listed? Tweet me @Jamaipanese.
