I bought Into the Breach years ago during a Steam sale and for whatever reason I kept booting it to the title screen and then deciding to play something else. I loved the first game from the same indie developer called Faster than Light and clocked up well over a hundred hours on that but didn’t get around to playing Into the Breach – Until a few days ago when I started streaming it on Twitch and nowβ¦ I am addicted.
About Into the Breach
Into the Breach is set in the future and has humanity fighting in different timelines against an army of giant monsters (mostly bugs) called the Vek with giant mech suits. It has turn-based battles where the player tries to defeat the Vek menace while managing various resources and changing priorities.
I love turn-based strategy games and although I only have about 8 runs under my belt in Into the Breach I have defeated those damn bugs twice. There are various mechs, pilots, missions and achievements to unlock so it seems I will be hopelessly addicted for a while.
