Google Chrome Browser Detection Added

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks Google recently released their own browser called Chrome and it is currently in beta. I’ve been fiddling with Chrome and I love it but I don’t think it will take over for from Firefox with my hundreds of bookmarks and Swish Army knife set of plugins. I do use it for short browser bursts like just checking email or Youtube idling but when it comes to extended and more productive browsing Firefox is still number one.

It’s been just over 20 days since Google Chrome was released and while checking my stats and taking a keen look at the browsers that visitors use to browse my site I was surprised to see that I had more visitors visiting my site that use Chrome than Opera over the period. I have added Google Chrome detection for users who post comments using that browser, too bad I was retarded and messed up all previous months of detection during my update of the plugin -_-.

Who’ll be the first to leave a comment using Chrome?

a complaint has been submitted to the comment dispute tribunal and a result of a very lengthy query is pending 😀

  5. I have been using Chrome since it was released. I like it’s simplicity but I have also found many annoying flaws. But I know it is still very new and I hope Google improves it soon.

I actually have to have IE open as well as I need to use IE for certain things that Chrome cannot do.
