NHK World has an Android app that allows users to view live TV. NHK World is a public broadcasting station similar to the BBC and it produces news and other features primarily related to Japan all day every day. I watch a lot of BBC and CNN personally and I was curious to see how similar or different NHK world was.
The android app is expectedly of a high standard. I’ve tested it out on my WIFI connection and other than the occasional buffering and blocked program due to copyright it functions perfectly.
