It’s voting time again! I hope you dropped by the IAAF website to cast you vote for the Jamaican athletes as I requested for the World Athlete of the year awards but although all the Jamaican athletes were most popular in the voting only Usain Bolt survived the more powerful vote of “IAAF Athletics Family members” and made it to the shortlist of finalists for the award. When it comes to the Performance of the Year Awards though there is no way in hell they can vote us out of the winnings….or could they…you decide.

Usain Bolt’s performance at the recent Olympics was super-human, totally amazing! No one ever thought it was possible to win the 100M that way he did. π
How is one to choose from all these great performances, and I haven’t even looked at the others on the site yet, some of which I am sure are also great. I’d love to put the 4X100 cause it was my most fulfilling moment, but Usain’s 100m record was probably the most amazing, then there’s Melaine’s grit and determination to come thru on the 400 hurdles, and Veronica’s stamping her dominance, oh oh, Shelly-Ann blowing past all the field and the commentators and analysts who never even mentioned her name in the line-up …….aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I can’t choose!!! Gotta get some coins to flip!
well i see no jamaican women in the list and usain’s two individual olympic performances but i don’t see where to vote! oh well!
oh i found it but the polls closed already u nut
