The Tokyo International Anime Fair 2010 will be taking place from Thursday March 25 to Sunday March 28, 2009 at the Tokyo Big Sight. The first two days will be business days only and open to industry members and press while the final two days will be open to the general public.
Just under 130,000 persons passed through the show floor of Tokyo International Anime Fair last year. The exhibitor list is filled with dozens of major and upcoming playings in the anime industry. The Tokyo Anime Awards will also return as it aims to continue to highlight the creations of domestic and foreign artists and other industry players. Still wishing I will one day be able to attend this event but I know someday it will happen.
I blogged about the Tokyo International Anime Fair character contest but none of my readers (to my knowledge) entered and the the eventually winner of the contest “TAF-chan” can be seen above.
