Almost 170 exhibitors occupying over 1700 booths with be present at this year’s Tokyo Game Show the biggest and baddest one yet. It’s no surprise that Nintendo will be absent from this year’s staging as they have never been a big supporter of the show for various reasons. Other big name like Square-Enix, Capcom, Sony, Microsoft and Konami will be there to show off their pre-Christmas games that I have dubbed their “Money Magnet Merchandise” because more money is spent on games in the weeks leading up to Christmas that all of the year combined and the competition this year is as fierce as it has ever been with dozens of big named, big budget titles vying for your money’s attention.
E3 2007 was fun TGS is a little bit over a month away and the E for All Expo follows that in October, yes its good to be a gamer, except if you are broke like me. Then again big plans are in store for Area 51 Jamaica so I’m sure I’ll be in the middle of all the gaming action.
