Cars 2 Clip: Mater vs high tech Japanese toilet

I’m a big fan of animated movies. I’ve found that with all the live-action garbage coming out spewing from Hollywood animated movies like the Incredibles, WALL-E, Shrek etc have been better repositories for my money. If you have been following me on Twitter for a while you’d know that I once live tweeted my favourite lines from Finding Nemo while watching it for what must have been the 20th time.

Cars was a surprisingly good animated movie that came out in 2006, I said surprisingly because I initially thought it was just an attempt to milk the craze for animated movies at the time but I was gladly proven wrong. Cars 2 will be premiering next month and there is this clip of “Mater” (best friend and sidekick of the main character) as he experiences his first time using a high tech toilet in Japan. Hilarious clip embedded below.

Cars 2 Plot Synopsis

Star racecar Lightning McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater take their friendship to exciting new places in Cars 2 when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage.

Torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission, Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. Adding to the fast-paced fun is a colorful new all-car cast that includes secret agents, menacing villains and international racing competitors.
